A family walk along the Dove Valley was a lovely way to spend New Year. The banks of the valley were drab and dark after the last few weeks of slush and snow had finally melted.
Despite the muddy pathway, it was invigorating trudging along the swollen banks of the Dove. There were quite a few walkers out, especially with their dogs.
Across the river, I spotted a small tree growing from the steep valley cliff. The organic growth of the tree contrasting against the structure of the rock was fascinating.
The image is now available in the Wall Art Collection.
This was a timely reminder that there is interest in everything around us....we just need to stop and spot it.
Have a great New Year.
